Pima Air & Space Museum

The Pima Air & Space Museum offers a fascinating journey through time and technology. Established in 1976, this museum stands as one of the largest non-government funded aviation and space museums globally. With around 400 historic aircraft showcased across 80 acres of land, including the largest aircraft like the SR-71A Blackbird and A-10 Warthog in the main hangar, the Pima Air & Space Museum is a must-visit for enthusiasts and curious minds alike.

The museum, located near the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, boasts six indoor exhibit hangars, with three dedicated to WWII history. Not only does it house remarkable aircraft, but it’s also home to the Arizona Aviation Hall of Fame, honoring those who’ve made significant contributions to aviation. The continuous expansion and future plans, such as the addition of the Tucson Military Vehicle Museum, promise exciting experiences for visitors of all ages.
